    Strange Darling (2023)

A serial killer who went berserk before the last killing spree that made history.

The Independent American cinema that dares and comes out a winner! The non-linear electrifying narrative captivates and increases the levels of suspense to the extreme. Its intention to manipulate, confuse, disorient, and make one wonder why they thought how they did prior to the events is as effective as the serial killer portrayed. It provides food for thought and questions societal norms, taboos, and false individual preconceptions. Furthermore, it raises the middle finger to political correctness as well as conventional Hollywood, which is scared to take chances.

JT Mollner masterfully writes and directs a raw, gritty horror with an engaging story and a thoroughly thought-out, non-linear plot that will keep you in your seats until the last second. Kyle Gallner plays his role beautifully. An extra round of applause, though, goes to Willa Fitzgerald, who left her conventional roles and went berserk, absolutely mental, on camera to bring this character to life.

P.S. Giovanni Ribbisi is one of the producers behind this masterpiece.
